Banana Peanut Butter Hemp Smoothie

I've been adding Hemp Protein to smoothies and I am really enjoying it in my banana peanut butter smoothie.

Banana Peanut Butter Hemp Smoothie
1 frozen banana chopped
1 Tbs peanut butter
2 Tbs hemp protein
1 1/2 cups non diary milk
5 drops of liquid stevia or 1 tsp raw sugar
4 ice cubes

Peel a banana wrap it up and freeze it for 5 hours. Chop up the banana and put it in the blender along with the other ingredients. blend until smooth.

Make sure the banana is frozen otherwise the texture will be goopy. You can adjust the thickness by adding or decreasing the milk.

Belky, I am allergic to dairy and whey protein is made from cheese, so I haven't tried it. If you don't have any problems eating dairy then it should work. You can also make it with out any protein powder (that's how my mom made it for us growing up). It won't have the high protein content but it will still be tasty and a healthy!

Thanks Kathryn!!
I am doing a new fitness routine and I have been learning more how the protein intake is so important for muscle building, so I do want to add a little more when I am too lazy to cook me some eggs or it is too late to get out in the morning.

thanks, I really appreciate your blog. i think I am finding a lot of answers about my health problems here.
If I go to Seattle this summer I need a intern with you :-)
